Purpose: The main objective of this study is to understand the buying behaviour of consumers towards organic food through online channel. The study aims to determine the factors influencing consumer behaviour towards organic food.
Design/methodology/approach: The method used for the data collection was the survey conducted among IT professionals, using a structured questionnaire, with closeended questions. In total, 110 respondents participated in the survey. For data analysis it was decided to use multivariate analysis like logistic regressions and structural equation modelling.
Findings: The results indicate that health conscious, accessibility and time are the major factors that positively influence the consumer's attitude towards buying organic food online.
Practical implications: This study suggests that retailers can develop effective marketing programme and strategies to influence consumers positively. They can emphasize the health benefits and quality of organic food. They can make these products easily available online to attract consumers to buy organic food.
Originality/value: This study provides valuable insight into consumer behaviour regarding organic food through online by examining the factors that influence consumers' intention to purchase organic food, within the Indian context.

A mobile wallet is a digital alter-ego of the physical wallet. It stores the digitised valuables for authorisation and uses it accordingly to grant permission for accessing goods. The permission is granted by various forms, ranging from password, QR code, facial image and the like.
With the context of tremendous growth of m-commerce industry in our country an empirical research was undertaken to determine factors impacting consumers choice to use mobile wallet service. This paper describes how these factors were determined using Logistic Regression, and Structural Equation Modeling.

In the years to come India would be vulnerable to severe and unavoidable impacts of Climate Change such as Floods&droughts, water pollution and the associated health hazards, prevalence of diseases, the adverse impact on crop production, less availability of food and potable water, heat stress, mass migration, mortality, morbidity etc. To address these impacts of climate change, various strategies, recommendations, and action plans have been discussed across international agencies, government and non-government organizations. All the same the challenge is huge and it is believed that private sector could be equipped and inspired to help in meeting climate change challenges. In this context we have conducted this research to determine if inclusion of climate change education in MBA curriculum would indeed inspire, encourage and equip managers in the private sector to take up the climate change challenge to participate in helping communities survive and build up resilience to adapt to climate change.Keywords

In India, water is fast becoming a scarce resource. As our country proceeds to achieve developments towards being a knowledge-based economy, competing demands for this limited resource coming from households, industry, and agriculture have wide-ranging implications for the country’s future. In line with these challenges, Indian industry is realising the importance of conserving and managing water, not only because of the growing scarcity and poor water quality impacting industrial operations, but also because of the fact that they are becoming conscious of their responsibility to (a) conserve water resources and (b) ensure clean water, for their own operations and to help communities around. In order to assess the extent of awareness of the industry to possible initiatives to address water challenges, an empirical research has been undertaken using survey research on a population of practicing managers across the country. This empirical research considers the severe impacts of the water crisis situation and examines if industry participation would help communities as well as their own operation in conserving and preserving this scarce resource. As part of this research, the awareness of private sector to the possible initiatives which are available to help water management has been considered in (a) internal sense (companies looking at the water efficiency in their own operations), and in (b) external sense (looking beyond the walls of the factory to help communities manage and cope with the water crisis situation).Keywords

This empirical study explores the extent of implementation of green supply chain initiatives for small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in Chennai area, in the southern part of India. The green supply chain management (GSCM) framework, which has been adopted in the research, comprises three phases of the green supply chain. These phases are:
* greening the inbound logistics of the supply chain, categorized into green sourcing and green process.* greening production or internal supply chain
* greening the outbound logistics of the supply chain
SMEs have always been the backbone of industrial activity in manufacturing, as well as service sector. Thus, if greening of industry is to be achieved it is very important for SMEs to be green.
Using a questionnaire as research instrument, survey was conducted amongst the environmental management representatives (EMR) or the chief executive of SMEs in Chennai area. The database generated thereby was analyzed using significance testing followed by structural equation modeling. From the results obtained one observes that greening of Inbound Logistics on sourcing aspect is significantly being achieved but greening of Inbound Logistics on process is not significantly being achieved yet. Greening of production is being achieved but not outbound logistics. Economic performance is achieved significantly but environmental performance is not significantly achieved, as in the current state. All the same, to achieve environmental performance the outbound logistics adopted by SMEs must be significantly enhanced.

This paper discusses a system of preventing/reducing the onset of NCDs in communities of employees across different world class companies in India. The system comprises a description of indicators which endeavor to measure the extent of health care initiatives, in the area of NCDs, practiced by these organizations. These are the Input indicators. The system also includes output indicators to assess the effectiveness of the initiatives.
Analyzing the data obtained from 12 companies, with the help of a questionnaire, the research comes up with the finding that the linkages between Input Indicators and Output Indicators are mostly statistically significant, valid at 10% level of significance in some cases and 17% significance in other cases.
Also, the trend analysis on output indicators over last two years shows substantial improvement.
